Warri Wolves start season’s preparations with Super Six

Warri Wolves Football Club

Nigeria Premier League Club, Warri Wolves FC, will be using the Super Six tournament which kicks off this weekend in Abuja, to prepare for the 2014/15 League season.

The team’s spokesperson, Moses Etu, said the players are raring to play even as they will be going head-on with two Nigeria age grade teams; the Flying Eagles and Dream Team VI.

“Our players are very excited that they will be playing against the U20 and U23 teams as they believe that these matches will prepare them well for the task ahead,” he said.

Aside featuring in the Abuja pre-season tournament, Etu also added that the team will train in Ibadan and Sagamu for adequate preparations for the new league season and also the CAF’s Confederations Cup.

“Our players are well relaxed having played some local teams, but we will train in Sagamu and Ibadan after the expanded Super 4 in Abuja,” he said.

“The squad will include their new signings and they are in high spirits,” Etu said.

He further revealed that the team will arrive in Abuja on Friday for the Super Six tournament with 35 players and 10 officials. Mr. Etu said there are plans to perform better than last year; when they defeated Bayelsa United and Kano Pillars and lost to Enyimba to finish second.

When you know God there is always different in your thinking and reasoning. And he said unto them, unto you it is given to know the MYSTERY of the Kingdom of God:but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:Mark 4:11 .And who is he that will HARM YOU, if ye be followers of that which is good? 1Peter 3:13.

Corruption is evil and spiritual. Abati and his master Jonathan wallowed in demonic acquisition of wealth, power and continuation of the misery that administration foisted on Nigeria. God was angry with them hence all their afflictions at Aso Rock.

Femi, thank you for this piece. It is very balanced. I read Reuben’s mumbo jumbo piece which was a mixture of superstition and fear of satanic powers. If you’re a Christian and know your inheritance in Christ, you will not go around panicking at every little thing. Reuben has generally been a disappointment since he joined the Jonathan govt but I”m sure if he is given the chance to return back to Aso Rock, he will jump at the opportunity in a second.

The difference between a believer (Femi Adesina) and unbeliever (Reuben Abati). The Bible says that “the wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.” (Proverbs 28:1). With due respect Reuben Abati and his ilks need Christ in their lives in order to be set free. John 8:32 says “And he shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free”

Delightful piece. Femi Adesina, I am very much with you on this. Brilliant. Simply Brilliant.
Given that Reuben Abati’s piece sounded so much like “Satanic verses”. Thank you once again.
