Dolphins of Port Harcourt striker, Emem Eduok, has joined the rest of home-based Super Eagles squad currently camped in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
Eduok came to Abuja on New Years’ Day, soon after arriving from Tunisia where he is on the verge of signing for one of the top clubs in the North African country.
Though he missed the morning training session, he was ready for the evening session at the Abuja National Stadium under the watch of Assistant Coach, Dan ‘The Bull’ Amokachi.
The interim Eagles boss said with the arrival of Eduok, the team was not expecting any other player as Godwin Igudia earlier invited has sent a message that he is nursing an injury.
He reiterated that only 19 players would be taken to Abu Dhabi from the 24 players currently sweating it out for shirts.
Eduok, himself said his trip to Tunisia was a huge success but he will still needs proper clearance from his parent club, Dolphins of Port Harcourt after the two friendly games against Cote D’Ivoire and Sudan.
“The trip was okay, I have done my medicals and concluded terms with my new club but Dolphins will still have to clear me after our friendly games”, he said
The Super Eagles will be up against the Elephants of Cote D’Ivoire on January 11, while the clash with the Falcons of Sudan will come up on January 17.
