Nigeria and Stoke City forward, Victor Moses, will be out of action for the rest of the year due to a thigh injury, club officials have disclosed.
The announcement was made on Stoke City FC’s website on Wednesday that he will be out for at least six weeks, meaning there is no more playtime for him this year.
Moses, who is on loan from Chelsea picked the injury during a 2-1 loss to Burnley during a Premiership game on Sunday, he is therefore going to face “at least six weeks on the sidelines” the Stoke City official website announced.
“He has a significant thigh injury which is likely to keep him out for several weeks,” assistant manager Mark Bowen added.
“At the moment we’re deciding with Chelsea whether [Moses will] go back and have the rehab there or stay with our team,” the coach said.
Victor Moses limped out of the pitch during the match at the 56th minute of the game and he was quickly replaced by Marko Arnautovic.
