Nigerian League: Okiki scores hat trick for struggling Nembe City

The Nigerian premier league club, Nembe City, defeated Kaduna United by four goals to nothing during a week 33 league match in Yenagoa.

Nembe City is at the bottom of the league table.

A penalty was converted to a goal by Nembe City’s Musampa Okiki in the 21st minute of the match; Chinze Ugwu scored the second goal in the 61st minute and, poor defending on the part of Kaduna United allowed Okiki to score his second and the team’s third goal in the 68thminute.

Okiki grabbed a hat trick at the 79th minute and the match ends 4-0 in favour of Nembe City.

It was home win galore during the week 33 league match with host teams brushing their opponents: Warri Wolves crushed Lobi Stars, with three goals to nothing and Enyimba won at home with three goals to Nasarawa United’s one.

Sunshine FC and Abia Warriors also grabbed home wins each.
