Get your act together, Siasia tells NFA

A former Head Coach of the Super Eagles, Samson Siasia, on Monday called on the Nigeria Football Association, NFA, to get their act together ahead of its election on September 30 in Warri, Delta.

Siasia said in Lagos that the contentious issues and challenges bedeviling the association should be resolved in the interest of the sport.

He said the development of football in the country should be paramount in the minds of football administrators.

“If the football house is not well managed, it will affect every aspect of the game; it will slow down the progress of the game which does not help anybody. They need to get their act together as we cannot move forward with unresolved issues here and there.

“Football has given us pride in the world, we should not mess that up now, we need all stakeholders on board. Do the right thing and put the right people at the right positions so that the league can also progress,” said Siasia, a former Super Eagles striker.

The crisis rocking the NFA affected national leagues as the Nigeria Referees Association, NRA, suspended officiating in the competitions, citing the crisis in the football body.

The NFA Extra-Ordinary General Assembly held in Warri in September inaugurated Samson Ebomhe-led Electoral Committee and the Appeal Committee led by Okey Ajunwa.

It’s too late Sir. Nigeria is a consortium of nation states.

I must say this is the first time, in my opinion, that an article written by Reno Omokri makes sense. Wait o! Has been truly converted or or is he is merely playing to the gallery in order to curry a favor form the government? Lol. Only time will tell.

Reno, talk is cheap! As an adviser/assistant to the president, you deceived Nigerians, told them lies, burgled a party facility and carted N25m campaign funds away; forged and circulated offensively dangerous lies against an innocent man – Sanusi. And you also fabricated a false name to distribute those fabricated lies online.

Three months after you left office because Nigerians totally resisted and rejected the rotten desperate lies and deceit you peddled at them, you are now here telling us what will work and what will not work.

I refuse to forget your history! It is risky to ignore the credibility, reputation and character of a man who says “trust me”. Reno, you represent the problem, not the solution!
