Nigeria will play host to Rwanda for the 2015 Nations Cup qualifier on September 7.

The Nigerian Football Federation on Thursday announced that Stephen Keshi would continue as the Super Eagles Coach starting from next week.

This was disclosed in a communiqué, after a meeting of the NFF board, by its spokesperson, Emeka Inyama.

“The executive committee has mandated the secretariat to reach out to Keshi and conclude the details of his contract,” Mr. Inyama said. “We expect that the signing would be next week so that he can resume work ahead of the fast approaching 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying series.”

Nigeria will play host to Rwanda for the 2015 Nations Cup qualifier on September 7. Nigeria’s home matches are expected to be played in Calabar or the Abuja National Stadium.

South Africa and Sudan are the other teams in Nigeria’s qualifying group with the top two teams advancing to the tournament proper in Morocco in January.
