The team is currently fifth on the league table.

Super Eagles Team ‘B’ player and Warri Wolves Team captain, Ike ThankGod, wants to keep winning after his team’s 1-0 victory over Kaduna United in a Week 20 match of the 2013/14 league season.

In a chat with PREMIUM TIMES on Tuesday, the 28-year-old defender said it was not easy to win a match after the long break. He said he hoped their victory would be the start of a winning streak in the league.

“You know to come back from a long break and win a match is hard but for us to win this first match I believe we will continue winning,” ThankGod said.

The former Heartland player is keeping faith in his team to win the league or finish in the top four at the end of the league season.

He said, “I believe we will finish top four or top three all we need now is to win away matches because we cannot afford to lose any point at home to any team again.”

The team sits on the fifth spot on the league table.

“We are 5th on the table and the two clubs on top of us beat us with goal difference. My target is to make sure that the players are united and to make them win this season,” he concluded.
