Oboabona suffered a knee injury in the game against Iran.

The Super Eagles central defender, Godfery Oboabona, said he is eager to return to action as Nigeria gets set for her final group game against Argentina on Wednesday.
The Eagles only need to avoid defeat to be totally sure of their Round of 16 qualification; and with a big boost with the impending return of Oboabona to the backline of Nigeria, many believe Nigeria can finally halt their losing streak against the two-time World champions.
“I am ready to resume training today (Monday) and the medics have given me a clean bill,” Oboabona said smiling as the Nigeria team alighted from the TAM flight that brought them from Campinas to Porto Alegre.
Oboabona suffered a cut on his knee in Nigeria’s opener against Iran and was pulled off. He was not available for selection in the Bosnia game, but the Eagles have stayed compact at the back to remain the only team in Brazil yet to concede any goal.
