Yobo is set to attain his 100th cap for the national team.

Super Eagles captain, Joseph Yobo, has said he is more concerned at seeing Nigeria progress to the next round of the World Cup with a win over Argentina rather than focusing on attaining 100 caps for Nigeria.
Yobo unequivocally said he would rather have a win on Wednesday than his much advertised attainment of a 100 caps if featured in the match against Argentina.
“It’s good news that I will reach that milestone but what is uppermost in my mind is for the team to win and for us to advance to the next stage. The rest will be a bonus”, the Eagles skipper said on Monday.
The Super Eagles and its officials have temporarily relocated from Campinas to Porto Alegre, as the team gears up for Wednesday’s group decider against former World Champions, Argentina.
Argentina have recorded three wins in as many matches against Nigeria at the World Cup, the only win Nigeria has over Argentina at the senior level was in an international friendly match in Abuja where the Eagles triumphed in 4-1 goal score.
The game was, however, tainted with match-fixing claims by some betting syndicates.
