Rangers denies sacking players

Team management says it is confident of the quality of its players

The Management of Rangers International FC of Enugu said on Thursday that it had no plans to sack any of its players.

The media officer of the club, Foster Chime, said in a statement in Enugu that the flying Antelopes had not muted any such plans as the league was just half way gone.

Mr. Chime stated that the management of the team was confident of the quality of its players.

“Rangers have not pencilled down any names, talk more of ten players to be sacked as an online medium reported. Management and technical crew have not in any way muted any such idea for now as the league season is still on. Although the league is on break, but we still have confidence in the quality of players in our domain,” he said.

The club, therefore, urged its fans, supporters and players to disregard the ‘misleading and unauthorised’ information.
