In another league match, Sharks FC retained their number one position in the league after they forced Warri Wolves to a 1-1 draw on Sunday.
The Nigeria Premier League match between Enugu Rangers and Gombe United ended 3-3 at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu.
Rangers’ striker, Ighadalor Osagona, scored a hat-trick in the match; while Gombe United forward, Adamu Mohammed, a former Rangers player, also scored for his new team.
Gombe United’s first choice goalkeeper, Ahmed Yusuf, sustained an injury during the match and was rushed to a hospital after a head-on collision with Rangers striker, Osagona.
Rangers’ fans directed their anger towards Coach John Obuh, after the club failed to record full points at home. A man recognized as an aide of Coach Obuh also reportedly attacked the referee.

Gbolahan Salami put Wolves ahead in the 21st minute from the penalty spot for his seventh goal of the season.
However, Sharks equalized through Tayo Fabiyi at the 56th minute of the game
Wolves had chances to win the game but could not convert them.
