Rangers and Dolphins win big at home.
The Nigeria Premier League defending champion, Kano pillars, seem not to be able to get it right after 10 weeks as they, once again, played a draw at home against 10-man Heartland FC team.
Pillars played host to Heartland FC of Owerri on Wednesday at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano.
As the game continued, Heartland’s Ivorian player, Konate Abdouramane, was given a red card for a rough tackle.
The first goal of the match was scored by Pillars’ forward, Bright Ejike, in the 30th minute of the encounter. Heartland equalized in the 47th minute and all efforts by both teams to score another goal proved abortive as the match ended 1-1.
Enugu Rangers and Dolphins FC won big at home, defeating Akwa United and Abia FC respectively, 3-0 each.
Nembe City played a goalless draw at home with Sharks FC of Port Harcourt, while Lobi Stars were defeated 2-1 by their host, Giwa FC.
