Ronaldo has now equalled the 14 goals in a Champions League season set by Lionel Messi of Barcelona; and has a chance to surpass it as Madrid look good to progress to the semifinal.
In France, a last minute goal by Javier Pastore ensured PSG defeated their visitors, Chelsea FC, 3-1.
Lavezzi scored first for the host before Hazard equalised through a penalty for Chelsea.
An own goal by David Luiz put the host ahead before Pastore’s 93rd minute goal ensured PSG take a two-goal lead to England next week.
