Nigeria and Fenerbahce striker, Emmanuel Emenike, will be out of action for three week due to a hamstring injury.
The player suffered a partial tear on his right thigh muscle as revealed by a scan carried out by the team’s medical crew on Tuesday.
He got injured while in action for Fenerbahce against Konyaspor on Monday night.
During the game, he lasted for 80 minutes and was substituted by Mehmet Topuz as his side won 2-1.
The striker had a long-term hamstring injury last year after the AFCON 2013 in South Africa which kept him out of action for three months.
He has so far scored eight goals in 17 league games for Fenerbahce this season
He will miss two consecutive away games against Eskişehirspor on February 1 and Sivasspor on February 8 according to the club.
