The event holds in Lagos on Thursday.

Three Nigerian musicians, D’banj, Psquare, and Lagbaja are billed to perform and thrill fans and guests at the GLO CAF Awards in Lagos on Thursday night at the Expo centre of Eko Hotel, Lagos.

Also billed to perform at the event is singing sensation and Glo Ambassador in Benin Republic, Zeynab, as well as South African singer, Lira.

According to organizers, these celebrated acts will set the tone for the event that celebrates African football stars who shone in the football sphere in 2013.

The strictly by invitation event will have in attendance billionaire and Glo chairman, Mike Adenuga, and other CAF executives.

Nigeria’s Mikel Obi is challenging for the most coveted price of African Footballer of the Year, with Cote d’Ivoire Yaya Toure being the top contender for the price.
