Iran and Bosnia Herzegovina are Nigeria’s other opponents.
The African Champions, the Super Eagles, have been handed familiar foes Argentina in the Brazil 2014 World Cup draws conducted on Friday.
The Coach Stephen Keshi side will, however, start out against Asian flag bearers, Iran, before they take on Argentina who they have played against in three of their four World Cup appearances.
The last team in the group, largely seen as fair to the Eagles, is Bosnia Herzegovina who interestingly are making their debut appearance at the FIFA World Cup.
