Union Bank came second.
Kano Pillars have been crowned champions of the 2013 Nigerian Basketball league season.
Pillars, who last won the championship in 2010, recovered from their loss in the second day of the playoff finals to defeat Union Bank on the final day and win the tournament.
The Stallions Boys pushed Pillars all the way, but it was the team from the Savannah Conference who sustained their lead throughout all of the four quarters to win 86-75.
Mark mentors who defeated Kano Pillars during the second game on Thursday struggled to match Dodan Warriors’ intensity in the last game of the day, losing by 52-79.
Kano Pillars and Union Bank basketball clubs will now represent Nigeria at the continental club competition.
