The team leaves Nigeria on Sunday.
The Nigerian Basketball federation, NBBF, has disclosed that the men’s national team to the Afrobasket 2013 tournament in Cote d’Ivoire would arrive Lagos on Saturday on Virgin Atlantic at 5.30 a.m.
The team is expected to fly out to Abuja on Medview Airline where they would be hosted at a reception by the NBBF at Westpoint Hotel, Wuse on Saturday. The guest of honour at the event would be the Minister of Sports, Bolaji Abdullahi, who would formally bid the team and staff farewell and wish them a successful championship in Cote d’ Ivoire.
The team would thereafter depart Abuja for Abidjan on Sunday.
After the training camps in Abuja, Los Angeles and Orlando and the Stankovic tournament tour of China, the selected players and staff to represent Nigeria at the championship would include:
