Kwara United missed several chances in the first half.
Sharks FC of Port Harcourt on Saturday held their hosts, Kwara United FC of Ilorin, to a barren draw in the Week 23 match of the Glo Premier League.
In the match decided at the Kwara Stadium, visiting Sharks built a virile defence to deny the resilient boys of the Ilorin team the needed victory.
Kwara United had wasted a lot of chances in the first half only to suffer for the wastage in the second half of the match.
In his reaction after the match, Gbenga Ogunbote, the Technical Adviser of Sharks, expressed delight over a point which it gained in the game.
He rated Kwara United high, but noted that the home team was affected by the pressure to win at all cost.
He said, “A team which won us in Port Harcourt could have repeated the feat if not for their anxiety to score at all cost.’’
Samson Unuanel, the Technical Adviser of Kwara United, declined comment on the match as he failed to answer newsmen’s questions.
