Mourinho adopts new name

Jose Mourinho

The once Special One wants to settle in Chelsea.

The returning Chelsea coach, Jose Mourinho, has adopted a new moniker in his second go-around at the club. He revealed it on Monday when he was unveiled to the press.

In his first stint at Chelsea, Mourinho was known to refer to himself as the Special One, at Real Madrid he wanted to be known as the Real One, now back again at Chelsea, he asked to be called the Happy One.

The Portuguese coach told the press that he was endeared to the English Premier League more because of its competitiveness as opposed to the “two horse race” of certain other leagues.

He was however quick to deny suggestions that it was a breakdown in his relationship with Roman Abramovich that led to his 2007 exit.

Asked whether he is really looking for stability now and ready to spend a long time at the Chelsea, the 50-year old responded by saying he was prepared and went on to explain that he wandered to gather experience and adventure but now he is ready to settle down in his favourite spot.
