The losing team commended the match officials.

Kano Pillars FC on Thursday defeated 3SC of Ibadan 2-0 in week four of the ongoing Nigeria Premier League.

Pillars’ captain, Gambo Mohammed, scored the first goal in the 17th minute after collecting a pass from the team’s midfielder, Rabiu Ali.

Mohammed scored the second goal in the 60th minute, through a header, to give Pillars’ fans more reason to cheer.

Speaking after the game, the 3SC handler, Busari Akeem, commended his boys for the “brilliant performance”, adding that they played well but were unlucky.

“My players lost to a better side and I am very happy with their fighting spirit,” Akeem said.

He also commended the officiating of the game, saying that it was “fair and wonderful”.

Abdu Maikaba, Pillars’ Head Coach, rejoiced over the win and thanked his players for the performance.

“I am pleased with the performance of the boys, I also commend 3SC players for their performance,” he said.
