The event promises to be fun-filled one.
Almost all 16 teams scheduled to play at the Zenith Women’s Basketball League have arrived in Abuja, venue of the competition.
The Federation’s Secretary-General, Francis Gbiri, confirmed this to PREMIUM TIMES.
“We have more than 10 teams on ground with a few of them on their way,” Ms. Gbiri said.
One team, Adamawa Super Flames, has cancelled its trip to Abuja for logistical reasons. They have, however, been replaced with the Police Force team, the official said.
The teams will be introduced to the media on Friday at the National Stadium by 10 a.m.
