Kenya’s Harambee stars prepare to meet Nigeria Super Eagles on March 23.
The Head Coach of the Harambee Stars of Kenya, Adel Amrouche, has made public the list of a 19-man squad that will travel to Nigeria for the March 23, World Cup qualifier against the Super Eagles.
The Belgian tactician listed midfielder Jamal Mohammed, who plies his trade with Omani side Al-Nasr Salah; Christian Bwamy of Norwegian team, Fram Larvik; and Brian Mandela of South Africa’s Santos.
The game in Calabar is the first for the new Coach of Kenya who has a tall order to curtail African Champions Nigeria on her soil.
The Harambee Stars have only flint chances of making it to next year’s World Cup in Brazil as only a rare win will help them stay afloat in the qualifiers after managing only one point from two group F matches played so far.
Meanwhile, the Super Eagles have also shifted their preparations from Abuja to Calabar as the countdown to Saturday’s game gets more intense.
