Nigeria League management holds first meeting after registration

The board will discuss sponsorship deals.

The Interim Management Committee of the Nigeria Professional Football League will meet on Tuesday, March 19, at the league’s secretariat in Abuja.

The committee members will discuss matters dealing with sponsorship of the league, the chairman of the board, Nduka Irabor, told PREMIUM TIMES.

“We are going to meet tomorrow (Tuesday) in Abuja in the afternoon and all the sponsorship issues will be finalized at the meeting. We are working hard to make things work this time and our board will ensure a rich and smooth league this season,” said Mr. Irabo.

The Nigeria Professional Football League was registered last week at the Corporate Affairs Commission, CAC. In an exclusive interview, Mr. Irabor told PREMIUM TIMES that the meeting would be the first since the registration with the CAC.

The Nigeria Professional League kicked off last week without a sponsor. This has become a norm for over three seasons now.
