The Nigerian lads are the defending African Youth Champions.
The Flying Eagles will on Wednesday evening depart for Algiers from Tunis where they have been training for over two weeks ahead of the African Youth Championship.
They will travel on Algeria Airlines for the one hour flight.
The Nigeria U-20 team will spend a night in Algiers before they fly out to Oran on Thursday by 9.10 a.m. It will also be an hour flight, according to team secretary, Aliyu Ibrahim.
The Director of Competitions of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Sanusi Mohammed, has already arrived Oran ahead of the team.
The defending African Youth Champions will open their Group B campaign against Mali on Sunday, March 17, in Oran. Kick-off time is 5.30 p.m. local time, the same time in Nigeria.
The Flying Eagles will also take on debutants, Gabon; and Democratic Republic Congo in group games. Hosts, Algeria are in Group A along with Ghana, Egypt and Benin Republic.
