The NPL boss was arrested by the EFCC on Monday.
The embattled Acting Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Premier League, Tunji Babalola, has been released on administrative bail by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
Mr. Babalola was arrested in his office on Monday over allegations of fraud and misappropriation of funds. He was released on Wednesday by the commission after officials of the Sports Ministry stood as surety for him, PREMIUM TIMES learnt.
The league boss is now to appear before the anti-graft agency on a regular basis for further investigations.
Mr. Babalola was appointed acting head of the NPL after the December controversial dissolution of the Baribote-led board of the league body.
