The event will feature discussions on issues affecting basketball in Nigeria.
The Nigerian Basketball Federation will hold her annual National Forum on Youth Development at the Package B of the National Stadium in Abuja on Thursday.
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The theme of the year is evolving a sustainable national youth development programme.
The event will feature discussions on the overview of the national youth programme, challenges of raising appropriate age –group national team, youth development, basketball without borders, amongst other things.
Also, the pre-season seminar of all technical officials of the federation will hold at the package B of the National Stadium from January 21 to 24, 2013 at the National Institute of Sport in Abuja.
The seminar will prepare officials to be able to participate in the officiating of the DSTV basketball premier league matches.
The officials will receive lectures, sit for examinations and be graded. Those that pass the exams will qualify as fulltime technical officials of the basketball league.
