Power outage disrupts Volleyball preparation

The Brazilian coach warns of the negative effects of the incessant power outage.


The Technical Director of Nigeria’s Volleyball teams, Agusto Sabatini, has complained about the incessant power outage at the Abuja National Stadium, saying it is affecting the growth of volleyball in the country.

Sabatini, a Brazilian, declared that the persistence power failure at the indoor sports hall of the Abuja National stadium has become an impediment to the National Volleyball team’s preparations ahead of the All African Volleyball competition.

Speaking with PREMIUM TIMES, Sabatini stated that the persistent power outage has disrupted the training programmes of the teams.

The generators of the Abuja Stadium hardly function just as several facilities of the stadium decay.
