The Owa Obokun and paramount ruler of Ijesaland, Adekunle Aromolaran, on Tuesday debunked rumours of his death, saying he was hale and hearty.
The Osun State traditional ruler said his rumoured death was a ruse with no foundation.
There were speculations Monday night that Mr. Aromolaran had passed away.
But the paramount ruler told PREMIUM TIMES he was alive.
“Don’t entertain any fear, I am alive, hale and hearty,” he said by phone. “Nothing bad happened to me. How I wish you ride in your car down to my palace and see me to further affirm my statement of being alive and enjoying good health.”
