Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State will on Monday swear in 23 commissioners and 14 special advisers, who will constitute the State Executive Council.
This is contained in a statement signed on Friday by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Habib Aruna.
Mr. Aruna said the House of Assembly had officially informed the governor that they had completed the screening and confirmation of all the 23 commissioners and 14 special advisers which he sent to the House on September 21.
“So what is left is for him to conduct the swearing in ceremony so as to enable them resume the task of governance,” he said.
The Lagos State House of Assembly had on Thursday made the confirmation and directed its clerk to inform the governor of its decision.
