The Ogun State House of Assembly on Wednesday screened 18 Commissioner nominees sent to it by the state governor, Ibikunle Amosun.
The screening took place at the conference room of the State House of Assembly, Abeokuta.
Those screened by the Assembly are Yewande Amusan from Abeokuta North, Leke Adewolu( Ifo Local Government), Olamilekan Adegbite (Abeokuta North), Muyiwa Oladipo (Sagamu), Mrs Ronke Sokefun (Yewa North), Bimbo Ashiru,(Ijebu Ode Local Government), Gbenga Adenmosun (Ewekoro), Tunde Ipaye,(Ijebu North) Segun Abiodun(Ijebu East) and Sunday Bamiwola(Ipokia).
Others are Jide Ojuko from Ado-Odo/Ota, Bolaji Oyeleye of Yewa North, Afolabi Afuape of Abeokuta South, Adenike Osoba from Obafemi Owode, Gabriel Adeife from Abeokuta North, Kolawole Lawal who hails from Yewa South, Olumide Ayeni, Rotimi Durojaiye are from Ijebu Ode and Abeokuta North Local Government Areas respectively.
The Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Suraju Adekunbi, in his speech stressed the need for cooperation between the legislative and executive arms in promoting good governance.
The Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, had on Tuesday, sent an additional list of three names to the Ogun State House of Assembly for screening as Commissioners.
They are Rotimi Durojaiye, Nike Osoba and Adebola Adeife.
