Ex-Speaker Dimeji Bankole denies leaving PDP

Former Speaker, House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole

A former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole, on Sunday denied that he had defected from Nigeria’s ruling Peoples Democratic Party,PDP, to the Social Democratic Party, SDP.

Mr. Bankole spoke through his media aide, Omodu Morgan.

“I have not defected to Social Democratic Party,SDP, as speculated and reported in some media.

“The report contains no iota of truth. I am still a member of Board of Trustees,BOT, and National Executive Council member of Peoples Democratic Party,” Mr. Bankole said.

The ex-Speaker was rumoured to have dumped the Ogun PDP after losing out of the politicking that characterised the primaries of the party. However, on Sunday, he pledged his loyalty to the party.

“I remain committed to my party,Peoples Democratic Party. I have no grudges against anybody, and I remain a loyal party member, and I have to repeat again I have not defected to SDP or any other party,” he said.

BEHOLD – The ‘Bank-Ole’ don SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

See? I talk am before say this small boy thief has gone underground so that the heat from his financial escapades can subside before rearing up his ugly teeth…and true true the boy don show!

Oh Nigeria! Why are you like this? We are complaining of the old crooks and the young ones are even worse? Why? Dear God, why?

  • Dapo

One day, if Nigeria survives, this boy will be made Minister or ambassador …and he will continue his trade in local and foreign currencies. What of Farouk Liwan? No one hears about that one these days. What of the Pension thieves? We though these would have been the reason for Nigerians and the so called opposition to hit the streets and demand prosecution. No! It is the struggle for their own pockets that clouds their sense of reasoning & judgement. So they easily arrange Chibok girls that the would would notice …but before Chibok was Bankole, before Chibok was Farouk and Otedola, Before Chibok was the Police Pension fraud …and before Chibok was the Ibadan Pension Fraud…

You are such a reprobate, a resounding f00l and a myopic irresponsible. Change is a constant thing, only idi0ts and imbeciles want to continue with a structure that have been unable to work for 50 years and expect a miracle.

  • YomJoe

Alhaji Abubakar Atiku makes a lot of sense to me with this, for the greater good of Nigeria.

  • Sir Louis

Atiku Abubakar has gone to great lenghts to help us understand with more clarity what Restructuring means, and its value for our country at this time. Essentially, restructuring would entail devolution of power to the constituent parts of the federation with these parts taking more responsibility for certain functions of governance and every day life of the people in their parts of the country. Certainly restructuring with good faith is the way to go in view of the glaring failures of our present political and economic structure and with the current widespread demand for equity and inclusiveness in government.

  • Rick Eson

Restructuring is good in it aims and if it is in good faith. The major problem facing our Nation is not restructuring, it is corruption and looting of nation fund. The impact on our nation is the fact that the looted funds are taken to another Nation thus benefiting them rather than our Nation.
RESTRUCTURING currently is being used by the questionable characters in our nation divert the nation attention from focusing on anti corruption and anti looting crusade by FG.
We must fight corruption and looting first and then focus on restructuring. Prioritisation is the key for the Nation progress. Corruption and looting are two headed cancer slowly killing our nation and responsible for all negativity in nation today eg boko, niger delta, boodoo cult, kidnapping, agitation etc. There are key peoples in our Nation who want to see an end to anti corruption crusade hence they insist Magu must go. Magu is working for the nation. The senate are working against the nation for insisting Magu must go. It is time we tell the Senate that the majority voted on the platform to get rid of questionable characters in the affairs of our Nation. MAGU is a big threat to the looters and corrupts. We must match to defend MAGU and defend the ANTI CORRUPTION AND ANTI LOOTING CRUSADE. Were are the workers unions. We must breath anti corruption and looting. If we dont get rid of corruption and looting first, lootind and corruption will be the main fabric of restructure. GOD BLESS MY GREAT NATION NIGERIA.

    • Justice Equity

You are such a resounding f00l and a myopic hypocrite.
What do you understand that is fueling corruption in Nigeria, you are talking about magu as the cure for corruption in Nigeria, what of if magu drops dead today, so Nigeria will cease to exist or corruption will now become our slave master.
Restructuring will reduce corruption in Nigeria by more than 90%,it will remove our resources from the table of no mans land,it will make every zone to treat their resources with utmost care and watchfulness.
Those who are fronting corruption war as a cunning crafty weapon to defeat restructuring Nigeria are criminals, liars, hypocrites, lazy minds and satanic agents who are feeding from the blood of Nigerian citizens been wasted every day because of warped satanic evil structure of our Nigerian nation.
Nigeria must restructure or die a natural death.

  • sirOscie

    Very well said Waziri Adamawa.

Restructuring the ailing Nigeria system in my opinion, Is a step in the right direction, One that all well meaning Nigerians should support wholeheartedly.

Be it political or economic all Nigerians needs now is new way and ideas.

  • Justice Equity

Atiku you have been my man for ages,I will forever be grateful to you for the singular act you performed as the VP that saved my state anambra in 2003 from obasanjo and uba family, your matching orders to the son of Judas Iscariot AIG Raphael ige (may unending curse be upon his generation), to restore the already kidnapped gov ngige to his seat, was the catalyst that saved anambra state from hyenas, jackals and cultist directed and financed by the immoral obj to keep anambra permanently doomed to failure and under development.
It was that singular act of yours that led to my state rise from obscurity to been no 3 in Nigeria today in positive development.
May God bless you and forgive you sir for allowing your self to be used by tinubu and the axis of evil APC to impose this old illiterate, sadistic malicious clueless ineptitude, and vindictive tribal bigot ,to destroy our nation and set us into avoidable recession ,chaos and disintegration.
May God show your generation mercy, for standing out when your co wanderers in the path of axis of evil are too ashamed to repeat the song they were singing for decades until 29 may 2015 when they brought evil and calamity upon Nigeria.
May God remove your name from the book of eternal death ,show you mercy for the evil you and APC did against Jonathan.
Surely if other Sincere leaders of Nigeria join hands and voices with the born again atiku in demanding for restructured Nigerian nation, it shall again be well with Nigeria.
May God do his miracle to deliver Nigerian nation from an evil leadership.

  • DrOye

Not your fan and I believe you remain one of the most corrupt Nigerians, but you succinctly capture why Nigerian needs to be restructured.
