The exercise, initiated by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, is to last three days and would enable citizens who registered in the previous exercise to turn their Temporary Voters Cards TVCs to PVC.
The collection of PVCs is scheduled to commence between the hours of 8.00 am to 4.00 pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Those eligible to collect the PVCS are registered voters including citizens who lost the TVCs but have their details on the database.
INEC also explained that all prospective voters must be physically present at the collection centres to get their cards as there will be no collection by proxy.

The government advised all residents to take advantage of the work-free day and the weekend to partake in the crucial exercise of obtaining their PVCs adding that the presentation of the card is a pre-condition for all transactions with Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies, including schools, in the state.
