Bus was presented by governor’s wife
The Ogun State government has donated an 18-seater Toyota bus and N500,000 to the Nigerian Army Officers’ Wives Association, NAOWA, 35 Artillery Brigade, Abeokuta.
The bus was presented by Olufunsho Amosun, wife of the state governor, Ibikunle, on behalf of the state government; at her office at South West Resource Centre, Abeokuta.
While presenting the bus, Mrs. Amosun said the donation was to assist the association in the discharge of its charitable works.
Mrs. Amosun also stated that the money presented was to enhance the association’s financial capability so that it could impact positively on the life of the barracks community.
She urged the association to continue to support and attend all her programmes aimed at empowering women in the state to be self reliant. She asked that the army wives support the administration of her husband and his mission to rebuild the state.
