Man arrested for stealing phones in churches

 The suspect allegedly stole the phones in two churches
The Ogun State Police Command has arrested a 23-year-old man for allegedly stealing two blackberry phones during two different church programmes in Abeokuta.

The police said the suspect, a resident of Atapila Camp in Odeda Local Government Area of Abeokuta, committed the crime during the church services of two pentecostal churches on Sunday afternoon.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, told PREMIUM TIMES in Abeokuta that the suspect went into the churches while the services were going on and allegedly stole two BlackBerry phones
belonging to the members of the congregations. Mr. Adejobi said he was arrested by the policemen attached to Obantoko Police Station.

The police spokesperson said the suspect will be charged to court immediately the police completes its investigation.
