PREMIUM TIMES had reported on Monday how the governor failed to keep his promise to reconstitute the state cabinet by the end of October.
That was more than a month after the Governor had sacked his entire cabinet.
Mr. Ajimobi had attributed the delay in reconstituting his cabinet to effort to include all interests, particularly within the new party, All Progressives Congress.
But the acting chairman of the party in the state, Akin Oke, later told the News Agency of Nigeria that they had forwarded their list to the governor more than three weeks ago.
The House also approved a further six-month tenure extension for the Transition Committee Chairmen in the 33 local government councils in the state. The approval followed a request from the state governor.
