Condolence registers have been opened across the state.
The Ondo State Government, on Sunday, declared a seven-day mourning period, beginning on Monday, in honour of the late former governor of the state, Olusegun Agagu.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Eni Akinsola, in Akure.
It stated that the state governor, Olusegun Mimiko, had ordered that condolence registers be opened at the Governor’s office, Akure and its liaison offices in Lagos and Abuja, as well as the 18 Local Government Areas.
The statement added that Mr. Mimiko also called on indigenes and residents of the state to remember the Agagu family in their prayers.
