Alake of Egba appoints caretaker committee as he goes on leave

The traditional ruler appointed a committee to take over the affairs of his domain during his annual leave.

The Alake of Egbaland, Adedotun Gbadebo, has appointed a seven-member Regency Committee to administer the affairs of his domain during his annual leave.

In a statement made available to journalists in Abeokuta, the traditional ruler announced that his leave will commence on the Wednesday, July 10, and end on Friday, August 9.

He named the committee chairman as J.O Sodipe, Oluwo-elect, and the secretaries as Kehinde Sofenwa and Baagbile Itoku.
