The 18 caretaker chairmen were sacked on Monday.
The Ondo State Governor, Olusegun Mimiko, has sacked the chairmen of the caretaker committees in the 18 councils in the state.
The sack is despite the extension of the council chairmen’s tenure by the state assembly.
A statement by the state government said new council chairmen will be sworn-in on Tuesday.
Mr. Mimiko, who was re-elected for a second term in office late last year, did not conduct council elections in his first term as governor.
