The Ogun State governor has executed changes in his cabinet.
Nov.5 (PREMIUM TIMES) – The Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, on Monday announced a minor cabinet reshuffle that will see the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Olu Odeyemi, become the Commissioner for Special Duties.
The Commissioner for Agriculture, Ayo Olubori, will oversee the Ministry of Forestry while Lanre Tejuosho, the former Commissioner for Special Duties, will move to the Ministry of the Environment.
The state governor also approved the creation of a new ministry to be called Ministry of Physical Planning to be headed by the former Commissioner of Environment; while Falilu Sabitu, formerly of the Ministry of Forestry, will move to the Ministry of Rural Development.
These changes were made known in a statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Taiwo Adeoluwa, in Abeokuta, and are to be effected immediately.
The governor has sent the names of commissioners-designate to the House of Assembly for consideration.
