The Ogun State Police Command has concluded arrangements to, on Monday, unveil the identities of kidnappers of the wife of the Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly.

The Ogun State Vigilance Service, on Saturday at Ogunmakin village located along the Lagos-Ibadan Express, rescued Muibat Salam from her abductors after five days. Two of the kidnappers were killed and deposited at the morgue while three were arrested and handed over to the police for prosecution.

The Police must spurn the temptation of playing to the gallery.
The fact that the men are being brought to justice is enough. Nigeria has to
learn to conform to the basic rules of decency and accountability. Such a
parade only serves to ape and encourage the mob mentality that we see all too often.
