Chime appoints new Accountant-General for Enugu

Enugu State has got a new Accountant General.

Governor Sullivan Chime of Enugu State has approved the appointment of Paschal Okorie as the new Accountant-General of the State.

Mr. Okorie replaced Eunice Ugwu, who had been moved to the state Civil Service Commission, as a permanent secretary.

A statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Amechi Okolo, in Enugu on Friday, said the appointment takes effect immediately.

It directed the former Accountant General to handover all property of the office to her successor before the close of work on Friday.
