The Vice President went to Cross River to visit the flood victims.
Vice President Namadi Sambo on Friday visited communities ravaged by flood in Obubra Local Government Area of Cross River.
Mr. Sambo arrived at the Margaret Ekpo International Airport and was received by the governor of the state, Liyel Imoke and some members of the State Executive Council.
The vice president later left for Obubra in company of the governor and other aides.
The state Emergency Management Agency, SEMA, said in a statement that Mr. Sambo is expected to visit other flood affected areas in Boki Local Government Area and Eja Camp, where some displaced persons were camped.
