A former member of the House of Representatives, Kenneth Archibong, is dead.
Bridget Archibong, the wife of the late politician, confirmed to PREMIUM TIMES, Friday, that the husband passed on, Tuesday, in Abuja.
Mr. Archibong, who represented Itu/Ibiono Ibom Federal Constituency from 2011-2014, was from Itu Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom state.
He succeeded Ita Enang at the House of Representatives after Mr. Enang was elected to the Senate. Mr. Enang is President Muhammadu Buhari’s current special assistant (Senate).

At the House, Mr. Archibong chaired the committee on Air Force.
The circumstances of his death were not immediately clear. But associates said he had been ill for some time.
