The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has won the re-run state assembly elections for Biase and Yakurr ll constituencies.
INEC had declared the April 11 elections in the two constituencies inconclusive, following reports of irregularities and violence.
Announcing the results, Sunday, the Resident Electoral Commissioner in the state, Okey Ezeani, said the PDP won in the two constituencies.
He said the PDP candidates for Biase scored 18,355 while his counterpart for Yakurr ll polled a total of 4,092, to defeat their APC and Labour Party candidates.
There was heavy security presence during the election.
With the conclusion and announcement of the two state constituencies, PDP has effectively secured all 25 seats in the State Assembly.
