The Rivers Election Petition Tribunal has relocated to Abuja for security reasons.

This is contained in a statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Abuja.

The statement was issued and signed by Mrs Deborah Musa, the Secretary of the tribunal.

The statement said that the relocation was approved by the President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa.

The statement said Justice Ishaq Bello, the acting Chief Judge of the FCT High Court, approved the FCT High Court, Apo, as the secretariat and trial court for the tribunal.

Soooooooon the war bells in the Niger Delta will toll for the nation again—–we have rejected APC and APC rule will never be accepted in rivers state—–it will be better for every rivers man to die fighting for our rights—–than accept the rule of Yorubas and Fulanis–buhari is tasking his luck too far–this was how the civil war started–APC has not congratulated a single PDP governor till date——–in their usual way–even Buhari refused to do same————-in 2011——-

Buhari is a self-acclaimed anti-corruption Czar, yet he served under late Sani Abacha without complaining of corruption. In the same period Buhari served as PTF Chairman under Abacha, Nigeria was named the 2nd most corrupt country in the world in 1996 by Transparency International; the most corrupt country in 1997 and 3rdmost country in 1998. Buhari didn’t resign or protest. He dismissed the TI Report with a wave of the hand. Can he do the same if such report says Nigeria is the most corrupt country in 2014 under Jonathan? I know that Buhari would protest and call President Jonathan names as it is usual with the Fulanis and Yorubas.
