The Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, will begin its 2014/2015 academic session on January 11.
This is contained in a statement by Ejiro Udjo, the Registrar and Secretary to the Senate of the institution, in Warri on Saturday.
The statement stated that the earlier January 4 resumption date was no longer feasible.
It directed all regular students both old and new to adjust to the new resumption date, adding that lectures would commence on January 12.
According to the statement, the screening exercise for new students, accommodation request through online, including the accompanying fees and payment of school fees, is ongoing.
It urged the students to abide by the directives.
