Kaduna Senator, Shehu Sani, to sponsor bill on tourism, laments neglect of Kufena rock

The senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani, has promised to sponsor a bill that will promote tourism in the country.

The senator made the assertion on Sunday shortly after climbing and descending from the historical Kufena rock in Zaria.

While lamenting the neglect of historical and monumental places in the country, Mr. Sani noted that “Kufena was the palace of Zazzau emirate before it was relocated to Turunku by the then Emir.

“Kufena rock, if it becomes centre of attraction will boost revenue generation of the state and the country at large.

“I will sponsor a bill to make it a centre of attraction adding, “even though I am not from the opposition I have climbed Kufena rock and came down safely.”
