Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso of Kano State has presented a N210 billion budget proposal for 2015, with the capital projects taking the lion share of 64 percent of the total budget.
The governor who was escorted to the State House of Assembly by all his Commissioners, the Deputy Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, who is the state All Progressives Congress, APC, gubernatorial candidate, noted that 36 percent of the budget goes to recurrent account.
He said the 2015 fiscal financial year would focus on infrastructural development with all the projects embarked upon completed.
Mr. Kwankwaso said that he was able to increase internal revenue in the last three years, from N300 million to more than N1billion monthly.
