The Emir of Gusau, Zamfara State, Kabir Danbaba, has called on Nigerians to continue to pray for peace and stability of the country.
Mr. Danbaba made the call in Gusau on Saturday while celebrating his 90th birthday and 30th year on the throne.
The Emir said there was need for the general public to continue to pray for peace and stability of the Nigeria.
He also called on leaders to ensure justice and fairness to their followers, adding that without justice, leaders could not get the needed support and cooperation from the people they were leading.
He urged Nigerians to complement government’s efforts in tackling the security challenges facing the country, adding that without their contributions government efforts would not yield posititive result.
Several important personalities from within and outside the state attended the ceremony.
They included the Minister of Defence, General Aliyu Gusau, Malam Ibrahim Wakkala, Minister of State for Finance, Bashir Yuguda and representatives of Sultan of Sokoto Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar among others.
